Vintage Belgioioso:
In few days, from Thursday Oct. the 14
and until Monday the 17th,
the “Next Vintage”
Show at the Castle Belgioioso will
take place. A brilliant paradise of Vintage fashion
especially dedicated to real Vintage fans
which never disappoints even the highest expectations with several surprises,
curiosities and a bunch of one-of-a-kind novelties from past fashion. The show
is very attractive and at every turn of the season it displays the really best
from period clothing and accessories proposed to both enthusiastic visitors and
fashion
professionals who come over here to literally have a full immersion and
“stockpile” quality vintage exemplars.
The collateral
exhibition will be dedicated to a tour in the luggage and
travel trunks history beginning from the 19th ct and up to the 80’s
of the 20th Century and will also display many interesting
curiosities on the content of Vintage suitcases and beauty cases, besides the
vanity items used to prepare and pack the most useful things to bring with
during a journey. The focus of the exhibition will be particularly put on the
functional meaning but also the affection and the emotional implications once
attributed by the traveller to the “containers” of his private belongings that
were necessary to move and travel when distances where very long to cover,
immense if compared with the nowadays speed in communications and transfers.
The exhibition will be staged in the central hallway but also in some showcases
placed along the lateral aisles of both ground and first floor of the castle.

Great success for the 29th edition of VINTAGE WORKSHOP® Milano: the recent edition of Vintage Workshop which took place last September in Milano has concluded with a great success. The 3 days lasting show, especially dedicated to the style research by the designers of fashion accessories, purses, shoes and fancy leather items has greeted many fashion professionals coming from Italy and from several foreign fashion companies that have proven their increasing interest buying and renting unique Vintage pieces, especially French, German, US Americans, British, Spanish, Portuguese and Brazilian ones. The sell-out scores have been so important to immediately drive the exhibiting Vintage hunters of the organizing Italian Association of the Vintage fashion researchers to quickly return to their research and bz trips to hunt for new interesting Vintage pieces to be presented in the next Vintage Workshop venue that will display a selection of period accessories dedicated to the collections S/S 2013.

Next editions of Vintage Workshop®: next Vintage Workshop® Milano will be on February 7-8-9 2012 at the same time of Anteprima and MilanoUnica while the next annual edition of the brand new Vintage Workshop® Bologna for Luxury Fashion is foreseen for the first week of April 2012 in a hotel location close to the Bologna Expo Fair and during the same dates as Linea Pelle. The imminent fall edition of Vintage Workshop® Bologna, will take place with the closed-doors meetings format and will take place on October 19 and 20.
