VINTAGE WORKSHOP® Milano:
the best of Vintage fashion research is back in Milan from 13 to 15 September 2011 for the Fashion Week
Milano 09/09/2011 The exhibition-sale dedicated to a public of professionals and Vintage fans has a peculiar telling subtitle: " Trends Forecasts Fall / Winter 2012-13. "
In the new exhibition hall of the Hotel Portello-Minihotel of Via G. Silva 12, almost opposite the Porta Colleoni of Fieramilanocity, the fair headquarters, simultaneously with MilanoUnica and Anteprima, the Vintage Workshop will display vintage accessories for men and women, handbags, shoes, belts, small leather goods and luggage purses targeted to inspire the future Fall / Winter 2012-2013 fashion collections.
The event, in addition to the professional audience of designers, product managers, stylists and buyers, will also appeal to all fans in search of authentic vintage fashion garments, unique or very rare, especially those who are tired of cheesy vintage mixed with new stuff, as often you can see at fairs and in chunky shops.
Therefore, VINTAGE WORKSHOP® will be a “Must” for enthusiast Fashionistas and Vintage Shopaholics, open to all public with free admission.
Now in its 29th edition, this event has been promoting for years the original and honest Vintage: just think that all the exemplars on display are specifically researched and selected exclusively for this exhibition all over the world and from the best sources in order to take in Milano only the best existing vintage merchandise.
A Vintage fashion proposed by talented experts and collector, which is apt of surprising, influence and inspire all those creative minds as the designers who every six months need to refresh, update and sometimes reinvent their fashion collections .
News for the 29th edition will be the return of clothing, available in suits, skirts, pants, dresses - even in leather - and knitwear as the result of a research lasted over two years to bring to light new hints and inspirations in style from the past...(carry on reading from Read More)
As usual, in addition to clothing and accessories on display and sale, a portion of the exhibition will be dedicated to a special selection of period Archive Accessories available for hire which, as most fans already know, can very rarely be visible to the public.
These accessories, like everything else on show, are a completely new assortment focused on the winter season and will be immediately available for rent on site with pick-up directly on the spot at the Hotel Portello venue.
To the public of private VINTAGE WORKSHOP® Milano will be a great opportunity to admire vintage clothes and accessories and also some very creative museum pieces, impossible to see elsewhere.
Professor Silvio EUPANI, new president of the organizers "Vintage Fashion Hunters", founded in the Venetian Region seven years ago, stated: " We are aware that our event is challenging and unique in its kind in Italy and Europe; while experiencing some attempts to imitation, it carries on winning because the success of an event, so delicate and important for the entire Textile / Clothing sector, is determined by the quality and the extreme accuracy with which the items shown are chosen (...)".
VINTAGE WORKSHOP® Milano is a partner of Milano Fashion City, a project of harmonization of the Milan Fashion Weeks (www.milanofashioncity.com) promoted by the Milan Chamber of Commerce, the Fashion Chamber, the National Buyers Committee and Promos.
