The section one (February 1st to 3rd) will be pre-eminently dedicated to leathers and fabric accessories (maroquinerie) from shoes to summer booties (early ‘20’s until late ‘80s of the 20th Ct.) to casual and chic bags (‘50s to ‘80s), evening purses (‘20s to late ‘80s , luggage week-enders, shoppers, suitcases, briefcases, to belts (early ‘60s to late ‘80s) and buckles, fancy leather items as coin holders, eyeglass holders, wallets, key chains and file holders. There will be a selection of men’s accessories too.
Second section (February 16th to 18th) will be again fancy leather items and accessories, a wide variety of shoes and purses from world over, but varied and newly assorted from the first presentation, plus under- and swimwear, corsets, ties, silk and cotton scarves (signed and anonymous), suspenders, hats, little fabric pieces etc.
About Vintage shoes, we will present for the first time some foreign extraordinary works by Manolo Blanick, Christian Louboutin, Maud Frizon, Charles Jourdan, Christian Dior, Alexander Mc Queen, Walter Steiger, Chanel, Robert Clergerie, Yves St. Laurent and others.
Among the Italian shoe makers signatures: Bruno Magli, Sergio Rossi, Fratelli Rossetti, Salvatore Ferragamo , Marano, Sauro, early pieces by Casadei, and a wide variety of “intricated” though less known or anonymous craftsmen pieces with an extremely high stylistic meaning.
What you can buy and what you can rent at the next Vintage Workshop®: You can buy whatever you see in the exhibition, apart from archive accessories that will be displayed separately
and that can only be hired for 1, 2 o 3 months. By immediate cash payment you will be able to choose and pick up your rented pieces instantly on the spot at the show place!
The show is organized by the Italian Cultural Association of the Vintage Fashion Hunters.
Stay tuned!
