Absolute première music movie by American visual artist DarkAngel0ne, at the Vintage Workshop® Milano

The 40th edition of the Expo Show "Vintage Workshop® Milano S/Summer Trends Forecasts" has had its première at the Palazzo delle Stelline in the city centre of Milano last February 9-11 with opening times 9am through 8 pm non-stop and free admission. The event exhibited a whole research selection of Vintage period purses, shoes, belts, buckles, swimwear, huts and many more accessories for sell and rend with immediate pick-up on the spot.
Vintage Workshop® is pre-eminently dedicated to an audience of fashion pros, designers, buyers, stylists, textile product managers and fashion cool hunters but in recent editions the show has opened his doors to the private public as well. Vintage fans consider the show a heaven on earth as it discloses old Vintage archive and highly collectable exemplars, one of a kind pieces that are highly sought after for their uniqueness or rarity and a high stylistic meaning. All the items on show are authentic and genuine Vintage.
The show has been held in the same location and dates as the international textile Shows IntertexMilano® and Ready-to-Show®.
There has been a common idea that leads the entire expo and sale: “Ricercatori Moda D’epoca,” the Association of the Italian Vintage Fashion Hunters that organized the event, calls it “Sharing Concept”. This simply means, the best things in life can be obtained by learning how to share experiences and passions.
This impetus and forward-thinking lead Angela Eupani, founder of the Vintage Workshop® project, to write a screenplay titled “Illuminated Survivors of the Third Millennium.” With tenacious enthusiasm, she dared to propose the project to the greatest and most original “digital” visual artist in the world; Native-American,
Vintage Workshop Milano show location
DarkAngel0ne aka RedHawk
DarkAngel0ne aka RedHawk, regarded as one of the most glorified video creators in the genre of avant- garde music, he has collaborated with musicians: Bruce Ruffin, Gary Numan, Muse and other artists, photographers and art directors worldwide. RedHawk developed his technique through the implementation of continuous experimentation. It begins with static images and photographs which he processes to give movement and constant change through digital painting techniques. Techniques that call into question the concept of time. A picture can stop or freeze time, but he manages to give a sense of perpetual transformation, an unstoppable history that never repeats itself. The application of this special painting technique and digital morphing, which can take DarkAngel0ne several hours or even days to finalize a single picture, leads to such amazing results, transforming two-dimensional images into a constant visionary and dreamy metamorphosis of 3D art. Even the unreleased soundtrack deserves special recognition as it too was created through the concept of "free sharing." It not only brought together a dozen artists and musicians of various genres: martial Hardcore, Industrial, Progressive Rock, Psychedelic Rock and even atmospheric Folk for the final sequence; but these artists ranged geographically- from The Russian Federation, to Holland, Great Britain, to Italy and The United States. They were fused together by inspirational magic that only great men and maestros like RedHawk can share, and all this for a Not-For-Profit organization. From this collaboration a new international movie production was birthed, a visual and musical narrative that includes some of the Industrial, Martial Post-Punk, Steam Punk and new Urban Cyber themes that the Vintage Workshop® suggests for life and for the future fashion styles.
The first motion picture of the movie
The first episode of what promises to become an epic visionary film has been presented at Palazzo delle Stelline, under the title “CYS, the sharing concept on Cyber Citizens".
It begun Sunday the 9th of February at 6pm and concluded on Tuesday the 11th, same day as the opening day of MILANOUNICA, with a special Vintage Shopping Show for stylists, designers and creators all day long and a special presentation with welcome cocktail and a projection of the above described music movie on a mega screen installation inside the exhibition Hall Solari at the Stelline Palace from 5:30pm to 8pm. During both vernissage and finissage ceremonies, after the film projection the audience acclaimed the movie with much enthusiasm literarily screaming for getting a much desired encore.

Belgioioso Next Vintage Giweaway: 20 biglietti gratis in palio entro sabato 19 ottobre 2013

Last but not least, lunedì ci sarò anch'io!

I had a friend who was on his way to darkness
He was not black enough, yet I enjoyed it
  Then he went awfully black

So I went down the hell

I gave my soul to evil
but could not find anyone …

  I am still down there
I feel the cold, I feel the hot
and don’t know if I'll succeed

  Down there it’s hot
  and I want to stay
  Down there it’s cold
  and I want stay
I don’t give a damn if I can come over
‘cause my soul is in the hands

I had a friend who was on his way to darkness
Now he is wholly black, yet I hate it
  He is awfully black

Vintage Workshop vs Milano Fashion Week: the best Vintage research is back 13-15 Sept. 2011

It’s Vintage time in Milano for the new forthcoming styling research ...

Two days are missing before the next Vintage Workshop® Milano!
With pleasure I publish a summary the press release and I thank the organizers of  the Italian cultural Association of the Fashion Vintage Researchers for having forwarded me the infos. Cheers!
Stefano Wolf

VINTAGE WORKSHOP® Milano:
the best of Vintage fashion research is back in Milan from 13 to 15 September 2011 for the Fashion Week

Milano 09/09/2011  The exhibition-sale dedicated to a public of professionals and Vintage fans has a peculiar telling subtitle: " Trends Forecasts Fall / Winter 2012-13. "

In the new exhibition hall of the Hotel Portello-Minihotel of Via G. Silva 12, almost opposite the Porta Colleoni of Fieramilanocity, the fair headquarters, simultaneously with MilanoUnica and Anteprima, the Vintage Workshop will display vintage accessories for men and women, handbags, shoes, belts, small leather goods and luggage purses targeted to inspire the future Fall / Winter 2012-2013 fashion collections.

The event, in addition to the professional audience of designers, product managers, stylists and buyers, will also appeal to all fans in search of authentic vintage fashion garments, unique or very rare, especially those who are tired of cheesy vintage mixed with new stuff, as often you can see at fairs and in chunky shops.

Therefore, VINTAGE WORKSHOP® will be a “Must” for enthusiast Fashionistas and Vintage Shopaholics, open to all public with free admission.

Now in its 29th edition, this event has been promoting for years the original and honest Vintage: just think that all the exemplars on display are specifically researched and selected exclusively for this exhibition all over the world and from the best sources in order to take in Milano only the best existing vintage merchandise.

A Vintage fashion proposed by talented experts and collector, which is apt of surprising, influence and inspire all those creative minds as the designers who every six months need to refresh, update and sometimes reinvent their fashion collections .

News for the 29th edition will be the return of clothing, available in suits, skirts, pants, dresses - even in leather - and knitwear as the result of a research lasted over two years to bring to light new hints and inspirations in style from the past...(carry on reading from Read More)

L’organizzazione è a cura dell’Associazione culturale no-profit “Ricercatori Moda d’Epoca”.
A breve ulteriori notizie, stay tuned!

English version post Next Vintage Show Belgioioso

My new post with hot news about Belgioioso Next Vintage Show, Fall edition, starting from October 15 to 18  2010, can be read on this blog here:   http://vintagevents.blogspot.com/2010/10/belgioioso-next-vintage-oct-15-18-hot.html

The post about Belgioioso Next Vintage Show, Fall edition, starting from October 16 to 19 2009, can be seen on this blog at the following link here

The Fashion Vintage Show at the Castle Belgioioso will celebrate its 20th Anniversary from Oct. 17 through to Monday, Oct. 20. Unanimously considered the possibly most important show at European level, and the evidence is that, differently from many other events, especially those born to pretend the same success, Belgioioso is the unique location where among more than 60 vintage fashion dealers and highly qualified collectors, 20 of them show up only here, so, if you want to grab one of their little treasures, you can find them only here. No matter if they are big of small-sized vintage hunters, they can definitely be mentioned as some of the best fashion vintage researchers world over. Proof is that many international buyers and designers, but I also dare to say many foreign vintage dealers as well, buy from them or visit them to learn and grasp new hints and inspirations.
How should we recognize the most qualified exhibitors at the Belgioioso show?
Well, besides their best choice proposals, I would especially duly note those who do not show the same goods and surprise visitors by exhibiting every season new stuff and are so graciously pleased to introduce and describe their little treasures, who spend time to entertain public without showing they need to hurry up and sell as those merchants who don't give a damm xxxx!
It is so very pleasant nowadays to feel gifted with a little interesting story, an emotion, a moment of the past… I would consider this behaviour a proof of being real fond of something quite special.
I would dedicate a whole week-end to Belgioioso but, time limited, I'd pass the dealers "of all work and junk", as tons of imitation jewellery or recent Second-Hand that you can see in any least fair, and focus to the best 20 exhibitors who seem to be more qualified in a specialty i.e. clothing of a certain period, only clothing, only accessories, who have more characterised and recognizable stands with a certain style. I would concentrate in the most important pieces with high stylistic content and should not to be missed having the chance to be in Belgioioso or in some rare little events dedicate to the Vintage of research.
I personally don't like the first day of Belgioioso, especially when everybody seem to be so nervous harrying up in order to not miss the best choice items.
I never understood the reason, but can grant that I got my best choice in buying the last day, usually Monday, I don t know if it depends on the fact that goods are exhibited step by step each day or because generic people focus on banal things and leave the one-of-a kind things to real addicts, but, in any case, I always give me time, buy rather late and get great unexpected discounts!
I almost never do this in my blog, (since here I am not paid for my cool hunting job LOL!) but I feel, among jewels specialists, I should at least mention the most inimitable one: DulceKappa from Torino who can usually be found at the upper floor of the castle. They have sculptured jewels in sterling silver, works of central and northern European designers, hand painted cameos and miniatures, finely carved antique mah-jonggs in bone, coral, jade. Few but great pieces of American signed Jewelry from the ‘60’s and ‘70’s and more: a little booth with many surprises on shop windows!
Regarding the accessorize selection, the records talk about a big increase of the shoes demand, above all period designer shoes, and handcrafted vintage belts.
On purses, I will emphasize to look for craftsmen pieces, especially hard calf leather bags in natural shade, whose row material should become a new seasonal mood for the 2009-2010 Fall/Winter seasonal trends.
This is my personal estimate but I am lucky as I usually guess well :-)
On HOW TO REACH BELGIOIOSO by car, train or bus, I propose a suitable link from the official site:

Workshop® Milano.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST: indovinate chi si é aggiudicata la singolare borsa vintage patchwork a coloratissime campiture in pelle che ha ispirato l'art work per il cartoncino d'invito di Vintage Workshop® Milano 15a edizione e che rappresentava l'Africa? E' Monica, l'avvocato ma soprattutto la splendida persona che per prima, assieme a Paolo, ha pensato e ha lavorato all'iniziativa Vintage for Mali.

Vintage Workshop ® FLORENCE July ed., up-dates: days, timetable and registration directions for professional visitors

Differently from the Vintage Workshop® in Milano***, which is an exhibition event open to both pro visitors and private public, the

VINTAGE WORKSHOP®- Firenze On target - 14th edition
is a sort of very reserved show-room with free admission but upon appointment specifically dedicated to only professional fashion operators, designers and buyers which gives a first overview on Vintage accessories of research aimed at projecting the future Fall/Winter 2010 collections. It is a unique event where a wide variety of accessories - more than thousand unique pieces never exhibited before - will be presented as a preview for the very first time. The designers will have a first chance to grasp the best Vintage accessories of research, buy them and eventually rent some that are not on sell and use them as prototypes and above all as very useful inspiration means to help focusing and developing their own creativity ideas.

It takes place in a very comfortable private residence location in Florence, relaxed, informal but at the same time very discrete (we are perfectly aware that designers don't like to be seen and buy in very crowded shows!) The Vintage Workshop® Florence gives a great opportunity to see a lot, save time and focus their choices with calmness and with the only presence of our well-experienced staff that will be ready for any request and to offer you a good Italian espresso... Very close to both Fortezza da Basso (seat of the Pitti Immagine Filati) and to the Stazione Leopolda in the area of Viale Fratelli Rosselli (Veneto Square), the position has been chosen for its convenient proximity with many hotels and the nearby Fortress.
The dates will be the same as the Pitti Filati, from Wednesday the 2nd through to Friday the 4th of July 2008, with non-stop opening times from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with last appointment at 8.
In order to book a free visit (average visit time is 1 hour) designers, product managers and professional buyers will need to be already customers or visitors of any precedent Vintage Workshop in either Milano or Florence, or to apply for a free individual visit by sending a short introduction of their activity as it follows: complete name, Company name, full address, activity sector (i.e. if they are involved in the design or buy of purses, shoes, jewelry, belts, leather items and luggage, accessories in general etc.), together with the preferred day and a time range for the appointment.
Every appointment is set at the hour from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and lasts 1 hour.
If a pro visitor wants to take part in with a 2nd or 3rd mate, he will need to indicate for each of them the complete name and Company name.

FAQ:

HOW CAN I BOOK A VISIT?
You can apply for a free visit by sending an e-mail no later than Monday June the 30th with all the above requested pieces of info to the organizers (Italian Association of the Vintage Fashion Researchers)
at: info @ vintageworkshop . it
You will receive an e-mail confirmation within 24/48 hrs with all data, show-room address and map. If you are travelling during the days immediately before the Workshop, you will need to add your handy phone N. in order to get your appointment confirm.
Remember, the sooner you book the easier will be to assign you the preferred day and time to set your date.

AND IF I WANT TO SEE AND DON'T KNOW IF I WILL BUY?
Ok ok, really and truly, no obligations to buy at all. Our format though is so well tested that by no means a really interested person will leave the Workshop with empty hands, and you know why, the accessories on show are way too good, almost impossible to even be found at specialized markets or shows, so we have experienced whole customer satisfaction, particularly when a visitor becomes a frequent repeat visitor and customer.

YES, COOL BUT...IF I AM UNLUCKY and don't find what I was looking for?
Oh well, never mind, keine Uhrsache, il n'y a pas de quoi! You are welcome to ask the Workshop multilingual staff about specific themes and inputs and you will have a great chance to know and become familiar with the event that will follow up your requests in a short time, you will be able to ask for a meeting in different Vintage archives and shops, to set another date or even to ask for pieces that will be researched and especially kept apart for you to view and select at the following Vintage Workshop in Milano *** which will take place in September, same dates as Anteprima Pelle and Milano Unica Moda-In.

CAN I SHOOT ANY PICS AT THE WORKSHOP?
Frankly speaking, we are so customer oriented that in neither ways pictures of any accessories on show will be done or disclosed by any means, especially on the Internet. Any piece on show can only and exclusively be photographed by the person or Company who bought or rented it. The members of our Association (Associazione Culturale Ricercatori Moda d'Epoca) are the only vintage hunters, dealers or collectors who grant in Italy a special GUARANTEE: no info about customers as well as no pictures about Vintage pieces on show will ever be disclosed. After a rented piece is sent back home, the same will NOT be on show any more for at least one year. We think every buyer should put this on count when buying or renting and keep in mind that this fact is so challenging to have made the Vintage Workshop the only really professional Vintage event of research in Italy.
Your satisfaction is our goal and consequent reciprocal success!
However, just to give an eye on a panoramic view of a small portion of an accessories stand taken from a Workshop some years ago see below ;-)

*** The 15th edition of the VINTAGE Workshop® Milano, will take place next Sept. as always at the Admiral Hotel. For more info, write us or

VINTAGE WORKHSOP ® Firenze On target, 14a edizione

nome e cognome, nome e tel.
Ogni appuntamento é fissato all'ora esatta (es. ore 9 o 10 o 11 e così via) e dura in genere un'ora.

DOMANDE FREQUENTI / FAQ:

Ebbene, sinceramente, non esiste alcun obbligo all'acquisto.
