Organizzato dall’Associazione di Volontariato Ornitologica IL GHEPPIO o.n.l.u.s. CENTRO DI RECUPERO FAUNA ALTA PADOVANA

Piazzola sul Brenta (Padova) 31 maggio 1-2 giugno 2008 Piazza Camerini- Spazio ex Filatura Jutificio.

Dopo il successo dello scorso anno con oltre 15.000 visitatori, ritorna la grande Festa della Natura. La manifestazione si svilupperà in tre giornate dedicate alle ARTI e TRADIZIONI alla NATURA, al matrimonio e al giardinaggio.

Dal matrimonio nascono nuove Vite. Vita e Natura sono quindi le parole chiave di questo evento.

In Piazza Camerini si potranno visitare:

La Mostra Ornitologica e di Animali da Cortile

La Mostra degli Antichi Mestieri

La Fattoria Didattica

All'interno dello Jutificio esporranno artisti, artigiani e collezionisti, Aziende provenienti da varie parti d'Italia con proposte per gli appassionati del verde, dei prodotti biologici e naturali, sulle energie rinnovabili, con manufatti artigianali, oggetti d'arte, esemplari d'epoca fatti a mano in mostra e in vendita.

Si segnala inoltre lo spazio Vintage con borse e accessori d'epoca allestito dall' Associazione Culturale Ricercatori Moda d'Epoca, con il contributo tecnico della Banca Popolare di Marostica.

Verrà ospitata la Gara dei Girasoli organizzata dalle Scuole Elementari.

LA NATURA SI VESTE DA SPOSA NEL GIARDINO CREATIVO
Un modo diverso di avvicinare i bimbi alla Terra.

Sarà premiato lo stand più creativo.

Importante è il legame tra natura, ecologia e l’antico Opificio dove veniva lavorata una fibra naturale.

La Festa della Natura, in questa nuova veste vuole lanciare un messaggio al consumatore: adottare uno stile di vita sostenibile in sintonia e nel rispetto della natura e della sua salvaguardia.

L'intero programma con orari ed attività varie tra le quali esibizione degli Sbandieratori "Città di Firenze", Spettacolo di Video Dance, esibizioni di musici, falconieri, arcieri, spettacoli ed animazioni per bambini in occasione della "Giornata Mondiale del Gioco", può essere visualizzato cliccando sulla locandina ufficiale della Festa:

In serata di sabato é previsto il GIRONOTTE con spettacoli musicali itineranti ad opera di 80 artisti, la serata di domenica sarà invece danzante con ballo Country e stands gourmet. Per lunedì pomeriggio é previsto il Concorso Animali da Compagnia mentre per la sera é programmato un concerto Rock con i Feedback.

Il Comune di Piazzola sul Brenta, per la sua collocazione geografica, la tradizione fieristica, la presenza di una struttura come l’ex Jutificio sarà dunque un punto di incontro per le imprese ed un pubblico curioso e appassionato.

Vintage Workshop ® FLORENCE July ed., up-dates: days, timetable and registration directions for professional visitors

Differently from the Vintage Workshop^® in Milano***, which is an exhibition event open to both pro visitors and private public, the

VINTAGE WORKSHOP^®- Firenze On target - 14th edition
is a sort of very reserved show-room with free admission but upon appointment specifically dedicated to only professional fashion operators, designers and buyers which gives a first overview on Vintage accessories of research aimed at projecting the future Fall/Winter 2010 collections. It is a unique event where a wide variety of accessories - more than thousand unique pieces never exhibited before - will be presented as a preview for the very first time. The designers will have a first chance to grasp the best Vintage accessories of research, buy them and eventually rent some that are not on sell and use them as prototypes and above all as very useful inspiration means to help focusing and developing their own creativity ideas.

It takes place in a very comfortable private residence location in Florence, relaxed, informal but at the same time very discrete (we are perfectly aware that designers don't like to be seen and buy in very crowded shows!) The Vintage Workshop^® Florence gives a great opportunity to see a lot, save time and focus their choices with calmness and with the only presence of our well-experienced staff that will be ready for any request and to offer you a good Italian espresso... Very close to both Fortezza da Basso (seat of the Pitti Immagine Filati) and to the Stazione Leopolda in the area of Viale Fratelli Rosselli (Veneto Square), the position has been chosen for its convenient proximity with many hotels and the nearby Fortress.
The dates will be the same as the Pitti Filati, from Wednesday the 2nd through to Friday the 4th of July 2008, with non-stop opening times from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with last appointment at 8.
In order to book a free visit (average visit time is 1 hour) designers, product managers and professional buyers will need to be already customers or visitors of any precedent Vintage Workshop in either Milano or Florence, or to apply for a free individual visit by sending a short introduction of their activity as it follows: complete name, Company name, full address, activity sector (i.e. if they are involved in the design or buy of purses, shoes, jewelry, belts, leather items and luggage, accessories in general etc.), together with the preferred day and a time range for the appointment.
Every appointment is set at the hour from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and lasts 1 hour.
If a pro visitor wants to take part in with a 2nd or 3rd mate, he will need to indicate for each of them the complete name and Company name.

FAQ:

HOW CAN I BOOK A VISIT?
You can apply for a free visit by sending an e-mail no later than Monday June the 30th with all the above requested pieces of info to the organizers (Italian Association of the Vintage Fashion Researchers)
at: info @ vintageworkshop . it
You will receive an e-mail confirmation within 24/48 hrs with all data, show-room address and map. If you are travelling during the days immediately before the Workshop, you will need to add your handy phone N. in order to get your appointment confirm.
Remember, the sooner you book the easier will be to assign you the preferred day and time to set your date.

AND IF I WANT TO SEE AND DON'T KNOW IF I WILL BUY?
Ok ok, really and truly, no obligations to buy at all. Our format though is so well tested that by no means a really interested person will leave the Workshop with empty hands, and you know why, the accessories on show are way too good, almost impossible to even be found at specialized markets or shows, so we have experienced whole customer satisfaction, particularly when a visitor becomes a frequent repeat visitor and customer.

YES, COOL BUT...IF I AM UNLUCKY and don't find what I was looking for?
Oh well, never mind, keine Uhrsache, il n'y a pas de quoi! You are welcome to ask the Workshop multilingual staff about specific themes and inputs and you will have a great chance to know and become familiar with the event that will follow up your requests in a short time, you will be able to ask for a meeting in different Vintage archives and shops, to set another date or even to ask for pieces that will be researched and especially kept apart for you to view and select at the following Vintage Workshop in Milano *** which will take place in September, same dates as Anteprima Pelle and Milano Unica Moda-In.

CAN I SHOOT ANY PICS AT THE WORKSHOP?
Frankly speaking, we are so customer oriented that in neither ways pictures of any accessories on show will be done or disclosed by any means, especially on the Internet. Any piece on show can only and exclusively be photographed by the person or Company who bought or rented it. The members of our Association (Associazione Culturale Ricercatori Moda d'Epoca) are the only vintage hunters, dealers or collectors who grant in Italy a special GUARANTEE: no info about customers as well as no pictures about Vintage pieces on show will ever be disclosed. After a rented piece is sent back home, the same will NOT be on show any more for at least one year. We think every buyer should put this on count when buying or renting and keep in mind that this fact is so challenging to have made the Vintage Workshop the only really professional Vintage event of research in Italy.
Your satisfaction is our goal and consequent reciprocal success!

A differenza di Vintage Workshop^® Milano*** che é un evento espositivo aperto ad entrambi visitatori professionali e pubblico generico, il

VINTAGE WORKHSOP ® Firenze On target, 14a edizione
é una specie di show-room molto riservato con ingresso libero ma su appuntamento, dedicato specificamente agli addetti ai lavori della moda, stilisti, produttori, manager di prodotto e buyers che fornisce una prima panoramica sugli accessori Vintage di ricerca finalizzata alla progettazione delle future collezioni Autunno/Inverno 2010.
E' un evento unico nel quale un'ampia gamma di accessori di tipologie differenti e mai prima esposti, (circa un migliaio), vengono presentati in preview per la primissima volta. Gli stilisti hanno così modo di scegliere i migliori accessori Vintage di ricerca, di acquistarli o, in parte, di noleggiarli al fine di utilizzarli come prototipi e soprattutto come spunti e mezzi di ispirazione che aiutano a focalizzare e sviluppare le loro idee creative.

Vintage Workshop Firenze ha luogo in una comoda residenza privata in Firenze, caratterizzata da un'atmosfera informale e allo stesso tempo molto discreta (siamo consapevoli che agli operatori professionali della moda spesso non piace essere visti o comprare in fiere molto affollate!) L'evento offre l'opportunità di vedere molto, risparmiare tempo e focalizzare in maniera concentrata le scelte con tranquillità ed in maniera indisturbata, magari sorseggiando un buon caffé e alla sola presenza di uno staff esperto che sarà a disposizione per qualsiasi richiesta su ricerche e imputs specifici.
La location, a pochi passi dalla Fortezza da Basso (sede del Pitti Immagine Filati) e dalla stazione Leopolda, collocata nella stessa area tra Viale Fratelli Rosselli e Piazzale Veneto, é stata scelta per la sua vicinanza a molti hotel ed alla Fortezza.
Le date di svolgimento saranno le stesse di quelle del Pitti Filati, da mercoledì 2 a venerdì 4 luglio 2008 con orario continuato 9/21:00 e ultimo appuntamento alle ore 20:00.
Per prenotare una visita gratuita della durata media di 1 ora gli stilisti, i manager di prodotto e gli operatori professionali in genere dovranno essere già clienti o aver già visitato un precedente Workshop a Milano o Firenze, oppure fare domanda per una visita individuale mandando una preve introduzione della loro attività come segue:
nome e cognome, nome e tel. Azienda o Studio, indirizzo completo e settore di attività (ad es. se si occupano del design o degli acquisti di borse, scarpe, bijoux, cinture, pelletteria, valigeria, accessori in generale ecc.) unitamente alla data e fascia oraria preferita per l'appuntamento.
Ogni appuntamento é fissato all'ora esatta (es. ore 9 o 10 o 11 e così via) e dura in genere un'ora. Se un visitatore professionale desidera essere presente con un 2° o 3° collega, basterà indicare per ciascuno di loro il nome completo e il nome dell'Azienda.

Riceverà una e-mail di conferma entro 24/48 ore con tutte le info pratiche, indirizzo show-room, piantina, orario confermato o il più prossimo a quello richiesto.
N.B.: Più rapidamente prenoterà e più probabile sarà ottenere l'appuntamento nel giorno e ora richiesti. Se é in viaggio nei giorni precedenti il Workshop, dovrà aggiungere il n. del suo cellulare in modo da essere contattato per la conferma.

E SE VOGLIO VEDERE MA NON SO SE COMPRERO'?
Ebbene, sinceramente, non esiste alcun obbligo all'acquisto. Tuttavia il nostro format espositivo é collaudato così approfonditamente da escludere che un visitatore davvero interessato lasci il Workshop a mani vuote ed il motivo risiede nel fatto che gli accessori Vintage esposti sono così interessanti e così difficoltosi da reperire anche alle fiere o mercati specializzati da aver sempre dato prova di riscuotere una piena soddisfazone riuscendo a non deludere anche i più esigenti, in particolare quando un visitatore diventa un "habitué" del Workshop.

SUONA MOLTO BENE MA...SE NON HO FORTUNA e non trovo quello che cerco?
Non c'é problema, sarà il benvenuto lo stesso e l'occasione servirà per familiarizzare con l'evento e con il nostro personale con la possibilità di esprimere richieste su temi o imputs specifici, richieste alle quali verranno date risposte mirate in brevissimo tempo. Sarà inoltre possibile chiedere una visita successiva in uno degli archivi o negozi dei nostri associati e addirittura chiedere di cercare esemplari particolari che saranno appositamente appartati per la Sua visione ed eventuale selezione in occasione del successivo Vintage Workshop® di Milano*** che si terrà a settembre presso l'Admiral Hotel di Porta Domodossola durante le medesime date di Anterima Pelle e di Milano Unica / Moda-in.

POSSO SCATTARE FOTO AL WORKSHOP?
Molto francamente, siamo così orientati verso il cliente che in nessun modo e con nessun mezzo foto di accessori in esposizione verranno scattate o divulgate, specialmente via Internet. Ogni pezzo in mostra potrà essere fotografato unicamente ed esclusivamente dalla persona o azienda che lo ha acquistato o noleggiato. Gli aderenti alla nostra Associazione (Ass. cult. Ricercatori Moda d'Epoca) sono i soli ricercatori Vintage - commercianti o collezionisti che siano - ad attenersi in Italia ad una specifica GARANZIA e codice di auto-disciplina: nessuna informazione circa i clienti così come nessuna foto di pezzi Vintage esposti saranno mai dischiuse. Dopo che un esemplare noleggiato viene restituito, lo stesso non sarà più mostrato o esposto per almeno un anno. Riteniamo che ogni acquirente dovrebbe tenere questo fattore in debito conto quando effettua i propri acquisti o noleggi di capi Vintage. Questa speciale garanzia é stata decisiva nel qualificare Vintage Workshop® come l'unico evento tecnico di ricerca Vintage realmente professionale in Italia.

Italian Vintage Expert Angela Eupani prized at the Lyon Vintage Show

LYON (FRANCE) REPORT 1st part
















Folks, that has been terrific! The Vintage Day in Lyon (see previous post) on Saturday May 17 has been a brilliant experience.
Here are the records:
20.000 (yes! Twenty thousands visitors, real score)
320 Indoor and outdoor French and international exhibitors in a fresh -sunny and slightly drizzly- Spring day.
P5 was the best pavillion, the hall dedicated to international exhibitors
5 halls (from P1 to P5) were completely full of Vintage stuff among with clothing, accessories, costume jewelry, period purses, great shoes, modernist furniture (especially dated 50's, 60's, 70's)
Mr. Didier Ludot has been the testimonial of the biggest Vintage show of France.
3 French exhibitors have been prized by Mr. Ludot as top selection stands in their speciality
1 Italian, Mrs. Angela Eupani of Sculture da Indossare (Sculptures to Wear) has been prized as top selection and best international stand by Mr. Ludot who personally selected around 5 vintage purses from period accessories' specialist Angela.
Consequently, as part of a brilliant animation, Mr. Ludot and his team personally visited every stand and introduced by michrophone to the visitors the 4 prized exhibitors and the peculiarity and value of their favorite items.
That has been a real fan when Didier together with the judging commission (M.me Cécile, M. Laurent and others) attached a heart-shaped baloon in each prized stands in order to point them out and signalize them to the public invited to look and hunt for the hearts to discover and visit the most qualified booths of the Lyon Vintage hit parade!
Here above you'll see one of the five period purses exhibited in the stand Sculptures to Wear (Sculture da Indossare - Vicenza - Italy) choosen by Mr. Didier Ludot (here below photographed during the Vintage Day).

He has been particularly impressed by the unusual material mix of this no-name Italian purse dated 1950 in green interwoven rafia and patent leather with metal cirle handle usable as fastening too. Other purses from Angela's stand he especially appreciated were: the bakelite and lucite purses dated 40's and 50's, a colour-block US kelly handbag from the Sixities -now part of his personal collection-, another Italian raffia purse with key-shaped fastening and bamboo handle, a pair of black silk shoes with golden hills and see-trough rectangular hole...
In the evening, after the closing and only for the members of the University of Fashion (Modalyon) and for certain higly delayed in wrapping and packaging exhibitors, at Pavillion P5 a big party with live music and tons of French food&wine has been organized. No need to tell "I was promptly there!"

I must add that even the French press has been very interested in this Italian exhibitor (see here below entire article on Lyon Plus, 16.05.2008 at page 6, signed by fashion editor Julia Beaumet).

The show has presented multiple "intermezzo" programs as for instance some Vintage catwalk shows performed by the students of Modalyon Fashion University, organizer of the annual Vintage venue and the "look hunting" to find the best vintage look among an enthusiastic public.
To me the whole day has been pure adrenaline! I could not stand at the long queues to visit each single small booth, that was really crowded as a sort of Morocco souk full at the same time of junk and of great breath-taking Vintage beauties. Wow, I was sik of a growing Vintage fever...
Want definitely to be there next year too!!!

Oggi nasce una nuova rubrica, titolo provvisorio "Facce di Vintagisti"
Solitamente schivi e riservati, con look assolutamente mai uniformanti, grandi individualisti, esseri curiosi, teste calde, vulcani creativi dall'immaginario inimmaginabile per i più, i Vintage hunters (commercianti o venditori collezionisti che siano) stupiscono e affascinano...
Cercherò di stanare i più vulcanici e di fotografarli.
Inizio da Monsieur Philippe KAZADJIAN, per tutti "Filou" di 2K Gallery, Tolone, Vintagista che in Francia é una vera istituzione

Today a new section of the Vintage Events blog is born, testy title “Vintage hunters faces”. Usually reserved and discrete people, with out of ordinary looks, far from any kind of uniform, sometimes eccentric, very individualistic, funny, cool, emotional, with volcanic ideas, creativity and incredible visions, the Vintage hunters (dealers and collectors-sellers) surprise and fascinate for their charm. I’ll try to be on the watch-out to discover and shoot with my camera the most interesting ones...

Questa é una bambola di Monsieur Filou che sembra avere un debole per il colore fucsia.

Di questa signora non son nulla, salvo che ha partecipato alla scorsa edizione di Massilia Vintage ed aveva delle gran belle scarpe (!!!)

Altro Marsigliese con mobili e complementi di modernariato; lo stand é sguarnito perché al momento in cui ho scattato la foto aveva ormai venduto quasi tutto!! Gentilissima persona, mi ha prestato alcuni mobili per arredare il mio stand e un paio di poltrone relax, wow!

Questa é la nota Anouschka, riconfermata madrina di Massilia Vintage dove però non espone, bensì compra, specie dai Vintagisti Italiani...

Vorrei mostrarvi qualche faccia da Vintagista Italiano, ma solo ora mi accorgo che in effetti la mia galleria fotografica é popolata di stranieri. In effetti pochissimi espositori italiani si lasciano fotografare ma cercherò di strappare loro qualche bel sorriso...Magari a Lione dove mi mi recherò domani. Spero di fare bottino di chicche Vintage e di foto interessanti.

Dopo il successo dello scorso anno con oltre 10.000 visitatori, Rosae Eventi (PD) ripropone a Piazzola sul Brenta da venerdì 31 maggio al domenica 2 giugno, nell’ex filanda vicina alla palladiana Villa Contarini una grande esposizione con vendita in una tre-giorni dedicata a tutte le proposte di prodotti e servizi per il comfort ed il “viver bene” in sintonia con tradizioni, cultura del bello e rispetto della natura. All’interno dello Iutificio esporranno artisti ed artigiani provenienti da varie parti d’Italia, con proposte speciali e coreografiche nei settori: arredamento, tessitura e abbigliamento in fibre biologiche, cosmetica vegetale e naturale, fiori e piante rare e da collezione, oggettistica in legno, rame, mosaico, carta, terracotta…
Non mancherà l'area gourmet con proposte mediterranee per i palati più esigenti.
L'Associazione Culturale Ricercatori Moda d'Epoca patrocinerà l'area dedicata al VINTAGE con una mostra-vendita di esemplari rari o unici e proposte di accessori, borse, lingerie, biancheria e abiti d'epoca raffinati e di classe sotto il comune denominatore del "fatto rigorosamente a mano". Un'attenzione particolare sarà posta su complementi d'arredo, decor, fiori, abiti e corredi (anche antichi) dedicati al matrimonio romantico mentre nell'adiacente vasta Piazza Camerini sarà allestita una mostra dedicata agli antichi mestieri.
Un evento semplice, molto curato e che ha un buon profumo...

NUOVA APERTURA SHOW-ROOM E ARCHIVIO ACCESSORI VINTAGE DI RICERCA: aperto a Vicenza dal 6 maggio scorso lo Show Room della collezione privata “Sculture da Indossare”.

E’ operativa la parte dell’archivio calzature anni ‘40/’80 composto di circa 1000 paia di scarpe di ricerca (fra estive e invernali) e circa 500 cinture, con continui arrivi in media ogni due settimane. Le visite da parte degli operatori moda professionali, sia per effettuare acquisti sia per noleggi, potranno essere prenotate –sempre su appuntamento – a partire dal 1° giorno disponibile: martedì 27 maggio e fino alla fine del mese di giugno scrivendo all’indirizzo di e-mail: aeupani @ libero . it

Imminente anche l’apertura della parte più poderosa dedicata a borse anni 1880/1980 che conta qualche migliaio di esemplari e per la quale verrà data opportuna comunicazione.

Opened last May 6^th, the Show room “Sculptures To Wear” is operating now with the shoe and belts part (about 1000 pairs of shoes from the Forties to the Eighties, half for the Winter and half for the summer season) and 500 belts with average new arrivals every two weeks. Fashion professionals interested in booking a visit, either for buying or renting, can ask for an individual meet via e-mail:

The widest part of this Vintage archive, with some thousands period purses dated 1880/1980 will soon be operative as well.

This time it will happen in France, Lyon
on Saturday May 17 from 10 to 19 non-stop - FREE ENTRANCE!!
at the Marché de Gros, Cours Charlemagne with entrance for visitors on Rue Casimir Périer.
The area is very close to the SNCF Train Station (Gare Perrache) with very fast and convenient connections from the whole Europe via the TGV train (train grand vitesse).
More than 300 exhibitors are waited among with Europeans, Canadians, Americans.
A consistent group of Italian Vintage dealers and collectors will exhibit at PAVILLION 5 (Pavillon des étrangeres).

On show: clothing, fabrics, accessories, purses, shoes, costume jewelry, hats, vanity items, furniture, objects, lighting particularly dated from the '50's up to the '80's of the XX Century.
A wide range of shows, events, workshops, stands for kids, will animate this big Vintage venue.
Very peculiar of the Lyon Vintage Market is the attention for Vintage designers branded items as well as the presence of both big dealers and private collector people (called in French "particuliers") who will probably give a plus to the exhibition's quality standards with some one of a kind period pieces.
In this 7th exhibition 15.000 visitors at least, among with ordinary public, designers, fashion producers, shop owners are expected.
The huge show will start at 10:00 o'clock a.m. and finish at 7 p.m. After that, "les jeux sont faits"
